A comprehensive range
The variety of products offered is as large as the variety in fields of application: ebm-papst offers maximum choice in AC and DC axial and mixed flow fans - extremely flat due to the compact integration of the external-rotor motor, and coming either in metal or high-quality plastics.The air flows through the propeller-like fan blades parallel to the rotational axis.

Mixed flow fans
At first glance, there is not much of a difference between mixed flow fans and axial fans: air is sucked in axially, yet air discharge is diagonal. The conical form of impeller and housing, however,compresses the air sucked in to a far greater extent. In direct comparison with axial fans of equal size and comparable capacity, fans in mixed flow design generate far lower operating noise.
