ebm-papst Ventilator (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was founded in Shanghai in 1996. After that, in order to concentrate more on production, ebm-papst Electrics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established at the end of 2000. These two companies were moved into the new plant location in March 2002.

Until now, about 820 employees are working for ebm-papst in Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Hong kong, Guangzhou, Dalian, Jinan, Shenyang, Chongqing, Hefei, Xiamen, Wuhan and Ningbo.

In China, ebm-papst is offering the worldwide largest range of electro-motors and fans, from 20 mm compact fans up to 1000 mm axial fans as well as AC and DC centrifugal fans of 630 mm diameter. ebm-papst promises to offer the best fan solution.

Just as worldwide business of ebm-papst, the biggest advantage of our business in China is that our sales engineers work very closely with the application engineering department in Shanghai and join the products design.
